Miike Snow are Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlsson, and Pontus Winnberg. The music they make is electronic-chillax-sometimes-indie-rock-sounding tunes with really catchy melodies.

There is def­in­itely, in my opin­ion, a dif­fer­ence between what is con­sidered art and what is con­sidered design. I feel that art is far more sub­ject­ive (dif­fer­ent people per­ceive dif­fer­ent things from it), whereas design is very delib­er­ately cre­ated to be per­ceived in a sim­ilar (if not the same) way for everyone.

I found the web­site of a web & graphic designer by the name of Jared Christensen; he has a bril­liant site, with a very good sense of humour.

I came across this show­case of a pho­to­grapher called Edward Burtynsky — very inter­est­ing pho­tos, “he cap­tures the price we pay for our indus­tri­al­ized planet and yet some­how makes it beautiful.”

There’s this web­site that has a new fact to learn which is pos­ted every­day, and it’s com­mu­nic­ated in the form of a brightly-coloured illus­tra­tion. They’re cool facts, and bril­liant illustrations.
