Art vs. Design

There is def­in­itely, in my opin­ion, a dif­fer­ence between what is con­sidered art and what is con­sidered design. I feel that art is far more sub­ject­ive (dif­fer­ent people per­ceive dif­fer­ent things from it), whereas design is very delib­er­ately cre­ated to be per­ceived in a sim­ilar (if not the same) way for everyone.
